Faye Didcote

Senior Solicitor

Faye joined KDL Law as a Senior Solicitor in early 2018, having trained and qualified as a solicitor in 2011 with a Top 100 City and Regional law firm. 

Faye graduated from the University of Sussex in 2008 with a first-class honours LLB degree in law, and went on to complete the Legal Practice Course at the College of Law achieving a distinction.  

Faye deals with all aspects of residential leasehold and property management for landlords and resident management companies including service charge disputes and other breaches, lease advice and representation in both the Courts and the Tribunal. She also has experience with claims exercising the Right to Manage, including contested claims, for both landlords and leaseholders.

Faye has a particular expertise with residential tenancies, including:

  • Possession claims, for both public sector and private landlords

  • Dealing with all tenures including: 

    • Assured/Assured Shorthold Tenancies

    • Rent Act protected tenancies

    • Non-Housing Act tenancies, and

    • Secure tenancies, having acted for local authority and housing association landlords for many years. 

Faye advises on all aspects of the process, including issues relating to tenancy deposits, drafting and serving possession notices, compliance with statutory requirements, as well as any defences/counterclaims to possession claims.
