Andrew Bailey

Andrew is an experienced property litigator having practised exclusively within residential leasehold management since 2012. Prior to joining KDL Law in June 2022 as a member of the Senior Lawyer team, Andrew spent 10 years at a large property litigation firm in the North West specialising in providing legal services to the residential property management sector advising landlords, management companies, agents and those that have acquired the right to manage their buildings.

As a Senior Lawyer, Andrew advises in respect of complex service charge recoveries, including major works consultations, ground rent collections and non-monetary breaches of covenant. Whilst also providing strategic litigation advice to clients, Andrew has particular expertise in advising those faced with insolvent tenants as well as the enforcement of covenants relating to the use and occupation of properties via the likes of Airbnb and other short-term letting platforms.

Andrew deals with matters before all levels of the civil Courts and Tribunals and is well versed in the various forms of alternative dispute resolution, such as mediation and round table meetings, in order to achieve his clients’ objectives.
